I need it for a flower garden border and it needs to be tall enough to keep dogs out of about 3 feet maybe.

There is rabbit wire with square grids.Chicken wire.Deer fencing with a 6×6 grid..Most is available in 36″ height and 48″ height.

You can buy “hog wire” which is six inch squares, regular mesh fence wire that is usually about two by two or two by four squares, or chain link. They are all more attractive than chicken wire, and come in a variety of colors and widths. Pay a visit to the building supply store and see what they have to offer.

Sure, any building supply has a variety of fencing, some with large mesh that keeps out animals. I have some in my garden that is about 2 x 4 mesh, I think. Great for trellis too.
